A commission starts with a conversation. Everything else is up to me.
A Jessie Breakwell commission is not a reproduction. It is not a likeness. It is a painting — bold, instinctive, and entirely its own — that begins with a conversation about what you love and ends with something you didn't know you needed on your wall.
Commissions are accepted selectively, and each one is approached with the same energy as the work you see in the gallery. If you have something in mind, I'd love to hear it.
How it works

The Conversation
Get in touch with your idea — a subject, a feeling, a space on a wall. There are no wrong answers. We'll work out size, palette, and what the painting needs to do.

The Work
Once we've agreed on the brief, I get to work. My process is intuitive — I'll keep you in the loop, but I won't paint by committee. That's what makes it worth having.

The Painting
When it's ready, it's yours. Delivered carefully, with a certificate of authenticity. Most commissions are completed within up to four months, depending on size and complexity.
